I began composing in 2018, earning my Bachelors in Composition in 2022. After playing horn for nearly a decade (and trumpet for over twelve years), I have started to collect and train on various instruments such as clarinet, flute, guitar, and synthesizer (with Ableton as my go-to tool for music production). The instruments I collect are mainly beaters (cheap, and in need of repairs); my main goal is to develop my skills in instrumental education and repair and to gift the functioning instruments to those who may not otherwise have access to this kind of resource.

Some of my main influences are:

Ornette Coleman, Cecil Taylor, Olivier Messiaen, Pharaoh Sanders, Kaija Saariaho, Eli Pandolfi, and the free music community of St. Louis.

I hope to continue making music in an accessible and exciting way with anyone who wishes to join!
